From Wiktionary under the GNU Free Documentation License. Oxford (pronounced /ˈɒksfɚd/ ( listen)) is a city, and the county town of Oxfordshire, in South East England. The city has a population of just under 165,000, with 151,000 living within the district boundary. The rivers Cherwell and Thames run through Oxford and meet south of the city centre. For a distance of some 10 miles (16 km) along the river, in the vicinity of Oxford, the Thames is known as The Isis. Buildings in Oxford demonstrate an example of every British architectural period since the arrival of the Saxons, including the iconic, mid-18th century Radcliffe Camera. Oxford is known as the "city of dreaming spires", a term coined by poet Matthew Arnold in reference to the harmonious architecture of Oxford's university buildings. The University of Oxford is the oldest university in the English-speaking world. From Wikipedia under the

Get bridesmaid dresses in the January sales from places like Monsoon or Coast (I saved loads doing this). Get shoes in the January sales. Negotiate the best deals on food whether going to a restaurant or having caterers. Make your own cupcake wedding cake. Don't get carried away with the spend 20,000 on one day crowd whose weddings all look exactly the same anyway!! (and I graduated a 2 years ago so my student loan is more important to pay off then wedding debts!). The people who teach at Oxford are, in many cases, already high up in their fields, or are rising stars. Surprisingly often undergraduates are taught by tutors who actually *did* "write the book on it". 2. Tutorial System. Undergrads at Oxford are taught in tutorial groups often of only 2 or 3 student to one tutor. Tutorials are frequent, on the order of 3 every fortnight, with essays set for each.
